Explosive Detection K-9 Handler, Full Time

Basic Requirements are:

1. A minimum of three years documented experience handling detection dogs with a military or law enforcement agency.

2. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

3. Eligible for commission as a Special Police Officer.

4. U.S. Citizenship.

5. Able to pass a full physical in accordance with 29CFR1910 and other site specific requirements.

6. A willingness to work irregular hours, including potential national and international travel.

7. Successfully pass an extensive interview process including both administrative and practical requirements.

Helpful Hints:

1. When inquiring about joining our team, please always include a detailed resume with a cover letter. We need to first know if you're qualified prior to getting information to you, so please provide us as much information in your resume as possible. We may not respond to inquires that do not have a resume and cover letter attached.

2. In your cover letter please include your availability date, who your current employer is, why you desire to leave your current employer and your current location (where in the U.S. or elsewhere). If you are being referred by someone on our staff, mention that in your cover letter.

3. It is critical that we know how to contact you by telephone. If you are not in a combat zone, we have to have a number. If you are in a combat zone, we will work with you on an initial basis via email.

4. All applicants must be willing to relocate. So before you spend the time to start an application process, please make sure you are willing to do this.

5. We will probably not provide you with pay and benefit information as part of a casual inquiry.

6. Lastly, please be patient with us and forgive us if it takes a few days to reply to your inquiry.
